Fantasy Restaurant Mountain Head

Welcome to the warmup exercise for the Why Am I podcast called “the Fantasy Restaurant.”  In here my guests get to pick their favorite: drink, appetizer, main, sides, and dessert.  There are no wrong answers!  These dudes read the brief…some of their choices are straight out of Indiana Jones LOL.  I hope you enjoy this crazy meal with Mountain Head.

Why Am I Mountain Head

Hey everybody, I’m Greg Sowell and this is Why Am I, a podcast where I talk to interesting people and try to trace a path to where they find themselves today.  My guests this go around are Ben and Kyle of the band Mountain Head.  This brotherly duo has what they describe as a psychedelic sound that’s always evolving.  That description not only fits the music, but also the men themselves.  We start with a DMT experience in a public park, move to talking about how the self is the biggest unused resource, and talk about changing habits.  These fellas are deep thinkers, and it’s going to take me some time to dissect everything we talked about.  At any rate, I hope you enjoy this chat with Mountain Head.

Why Am I Corey Easley

Hey everybody, I’m Greg Sowell and this is Why Am I, a podcast where I talk to interesting people and try to trace a path to where they find themselves today.  My guest this go around is Corey Easley.  Cory is a man of many passions: he’s a fitness professional, hilarious podcaster, and a comic.  He’s also a nurturer, though I don’t think he would use those words…he’d likely say a motivator.  More than that he’s a work in progress.  He’s constantly trying to be a better version of himself and guess what, he wants to bring you along with him.  Go subscribe to his podcast “Corey has a podcast” right now, then come back and listen to this episode.  I hope you enjoy this chat with Corey.

Why Am I Peter Krask

Hey everybody, I’m Greg Sowell and this is Why Am I, a podcast where I talk to interesting people and try to trace a path to where they find themselves today.  My guest this go around is Peter Krask.  He is a writer, photographer, mentor, maker, guide, and educator.  He’s also a deep thinker, putting a lot of time examining the way he feels about things and then putting that into his work.  Something that really struck me is how he looks at art.  To Peter, it seems to truly be alive with its own thoughts, feelings, and intentions.  The way he talks about art, it knows what it wants and will guide you to it.  At any rate, I hope you enjoy this chat with Peter.

Why Am I Brian Brewer

Hey everybody, I’m Greg Sowell and this is Why Am I, a podcast where I talk to interesting people and try to trace a path to where they find themselves today.  My guest this go around is Brian Brewer.  Brian and I go way back; we used to work together back in the early 2000s.  He’s one of the most introspective folks I’ve bet, but like most folks growth came at a price…or perhaps more accurately growth was a result of paying a price.  I tell you what…if you ever meet Brian, be sure to ask him about El Paso.  At any rate, I hope you enjoy this conversation with Brian.

Why Am I Jafar Sandouk

Hey everybody, I’m Greg Sowell and this is Why Am I, a podcast where I talk to interesting people and try to trace a path to where they find themselves today.  My guest this go around is Jafar Sandouk.  He’s a multi talented musician who writes all of his music, records each instrument, and then also does all of the post production himself.  It’s hard to imagine someone would want to do all of that themselves, until you realize that’s the one way he can truly communicate with others completely.  I hope you enjoy this chat with Jafar.
